Treatment Effects of Fränkel, Activator and Extraoral Traction Appliances
Page Range: 107 – 121
Abstract
A statistical comparison of some effects of Fränkel, activator and extraoral traction therapy. Maxillary retraction was greatest with high-pull headgear. Lower face height was too variable to identify meaningful statistical differences. Mandibular growth, lower molar eruption and inhibition of upper molar eruption were significant with the Fränkel.
