Incisor Resorption caused by Maxillary CuspidsA Radiographic Study
A Detailed radiographic study of 46 cases of maxillary incisor resorption related to unerupted cuspids finds most resorption in midroot, with about half on labial or lingual surfaces where it was not detectable on periapical radiographs. Resorption appears early, making it desirable to evaluate cuspid position no later than 10 or 11 years of age.Abstract
