In Memoriam: Everett Shapiro
On January 1, 2002 Dr. Everett Shapiro passed away at the age of 84. Dr. Shapiro was a beloved member of the Edward H. Angle Society's Eastern Component. At the time of his death, Dr. Shapiro was Professor Emeritus in the Department of Orthodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine having retired in 1998 after an illustrious career. Those who knew him will long remember the sparkle in his eyes, his self-effacing humor, and his most distinctive laugh. But most of all, we will not forget the friend, the teacher, the colleague and dedicated orthodontist. He was truly a credit to our specialty and the Angle Society.
